Forty minutes of live PA action from Steve Conner under his Adapta alias? I think so. Yes.

Adapta might not be a name you’re too familiar with. You might be more familiar with the duo Bitstream.

Along with his brother Dave, Bitsteam’s work during the last decade can be found sitting in many a respectable electro lovers music collection. The LPs One Third Standard Lux and Domestic Economy 7, both on Manchester’s Modern Love are pretty essential listening.

Under his Adapta alias Conner has already released several 12s through his own Brutalist Sunset label. This live set, recorded on the River Thames recently at The Dodo Club New Year’s Eve Party features live versions of recent tracks together with unreleased work forthcoming later this year. Which I’m assuming will also be on Brutalist.
