Featured Guest
Edinburgh’s Gregg Davies has guested on Mantis a few times over the years. Firstly in 2013 as Savagen – his techno project with Ingen. Returning in 2018 as his murky industrial sludge solo project Savier. This time he returns with his most ferocious project yet – Raw Village Hall – the hardware based breakcore machinations of a lunatic.
Gregg’s productions (and artwork) have continued to impress me over the years, and it’s with great pleasure I welcome him back once again. His artwork graces the cover art for this episode.
Everything in you’ll hear in session is by him. His current release as Raw Village Hall is – Not Even Close – out now on Acre Recordings. Recently, February 16th, he released as Savier, Volume 1 of his Cupboard Sessions, through his own label Bloody Funny Clown.
