Presenting the recording of the debut performance of heavyweight duo Dead Sound and Videohead, recorded live at Darkfloor Live 5 at London’s Paraside Inn on March 9, 2013.

Both hailing from Stoke but now based in Manchester, the fractured techno these two have been unleashing over the past few years has made many sit up and take notice. Their work on labels like Ireland’s Acroplane Recordings and London’s Perc Trax filling many a DJs charts and record boxes.

As a live performance the duo are part DJ, part live set and their close to two hour session at Darkfloor Live was an intense, thunderous workout of techno, basslines, electro diversions and the occasional cheeky bootleg edit.

Our crowd left with smiles on their faces and ringing in their ears. Just as it should be.
