Good day fellow lemon. Here’s a fresh episode for you.

Starting at the beginning, as I often do, we roll though the “New Weird Britain” sound of HARESS into something recent from The Black Dog. From there we step up into some beats with the funk n soul of Labi Siffre, the chanson pop of Stromae, and the steel drum infused stylings of the Caribbean Jazz Project. Before going deep into the dub with tracks from Roots Radics, Ghost Dubs, Radiohead, and Basic Channel.

Into our second hour and you can expect the likes of Jamie xx, Credit 00, Rat Heart, Charli XCX and, brand new clipping.

Turns out many of you are Mos Def fans, which was fortuitous as I play a track from his ’99 LP, Black On Both Sides. Rolling through the brilliant Alton Ellis, equally brilliant Little Richard, and the incredible Björk, before winding up with the alternative folky rock of Sour Widows, Heavy Metal era Stevie Nicks, and the fantastic Bremen duo Saâda Bonaire.
