Back in 2009 the Chinese Bypass Netlabel released Drink To The Drowned Ones by macabro. It quickly became a regular feature of my late night listening habits, and indeed still is.

Fast forward to today and macabro is back with a new album on Portuguese netlabel Enough Records. Deep, lush and at times dark, the ambient sound presented within the 14 tracks of this release is both soothing and immersive.

Dark ambient album by Latvian project macabro with a mixture of soothing soundscapes, combined with warm pulsations of deep bass rhythms. The artist draws influences from both (neo-)classical music and modern electronic glitch-sound material.
