20 Years of Blueprint – Structures & Solutions 1996-2016

Some of the finest techno producers out there at the moment turn in material for Blueprint and their 20 year celebratory compilation Structures and Solutions 1996 – 2016.

With 17 tracks it’s a beast. Here’s some of our favourites.

Randomer drops another fine piece of work with Sheen – subtle and understated but with the dancefloor clearly in his gaze.

Tessela bring the party with the rolling Rub. Whilst Blueprint kingpin Ruskin’s 6teenth is great, bags of vibe on offer and a touch of the darker side of things.

Much like Oliver Ho who channels the no wave in his offering for the comp – The Serpent Devours Itself. Very much akin to his Broken English Club material. Similarly fractured rolling vibes fly high in Lonor from The Fear Ratio, with a trademark – draped in emotion – synth.

The compilation also features two tracks from Irish duo Lakker. Emotionally charged shards of sound that the pair absolutely nail with their deft sound design, in particular the first of the two – Chain of Combs.

In addition you’ve material from Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems, Blawan, Bicknell, Makaton, Truss, Regis, and Regis working with Ruskin as their O/V/R project (of which a new EP is coming on Blueprint), Rumah & Progression, Rommek and another Ruskin collab, this time with DVS1.

Available now and if it wasn’t clear – recommended.
