Last December Darkfloor Sound released two 4 track EPs – a two part compilation called Winter Solstice.

This is our annual fund raising project we started in 2016 with an 8 track release featuring several artists from the Darkfloor Sound label. Last year’s double EP expanded this further afield by featuring artists connected to our label and our sound by way of our show Mantis Radio. For this years edition we expand further still.

Our compilation series marks the shortest day of the year, with all monies raised from sales on our Bandcamp donated to the National Autistic Society. The Winter Solstice comps are released under a pay-what-you-want model.

This year, we are releasing a 10 track work that features exclusive music by Dodssang Tempel, Go Hiyama, Hedchef, Herd, Khost and War Crimes, Si Begg, subduxtion, Sunken Foal, and Yuri Urano.  The compilation will be available on Bandcamp later this month, Monday, December 21st.
