Modul are based in Krasnodar, Russian Federation, and consists of 3 members. Evgeny Shchukin, Evgeny Fomin and Alexander Tochilkin. Together they produce deep IDM electronica, with releases on Phonocake, Electrosound and Notype.

The symbiosis of tuneful idm, pieces of classical electronica and modern rhythms is a distinguishing feature of Modul. Creating productions the band uses both analog and digital equipment, as well as acoustic instruments and self-designed devices.
