Featured Guest

Our guest this week is Denmark’s Mathias Hammerstrøm aka Amphior.

Debuting in 2014 with his EP Begone, on Loodma Recordings, it his 2017 album Shadowland that I first noticed him. His sound is one of atmospheric and meditative music. Ambient, downtempo, melancholic, inner warmth kind of stuff. Earlier this month he dropped his 2nd full length titled We Used To Dance on his own label Hammerstorm Records.

He tells me his guest mix is compiled of deep ambient tracks, oozing nostalgia, heartache, and dreamy moods. Expanding and re-expressing the title of this new album.
