Download a breaks bootleg of Technarchy by Cybersonik

The German producer TRO and label head of the bass heavy mutations Furioso gives up and shares an old bootleg of his. Now this is either going to be right up your street or heresy.

One of the highlights in my record collection is an original white label promo 12″ of this classic from Cybersonik, complete with the stamped +8 Future Sound of Detroit on it.

If you’re unfamiliar with just who Cybersonik were, seeing as they released Technarchy 21 years ago, then get to know. A production trio comprising of Richie Hawtin (before his Plastikman project), Daniel Bell (aka DBX) and John Acquaviva.

Taking the instantly recognisable synth work of the original, TRO reconstructs the classic with breakbeat programming and layers up some acid lines whilst loosing little of the originals vibe; this still sounds like it’s from those halcyon days of early rave.
