SENKING HAS A NEW ALBUM OUT!
I was a huge fan of his last long-player (Pong, Raster-Noton, 2010) and have been excited about this new release for a while but sheer lack of money has meant I can’t cop a copy just yet *sobs*.

In the meantime this excellent video for the track Murders will have to suffice. It has zombies, which is never a bad thing.

I’ve been regularly checking The Bug’s Facebook page for news of the highly anticipated follow up to London Zoo (Ninja Tune, 2008), I can’t believe it’s been 5 years! It sounds like he’s been racing through the tracks at a rate of knots (only 2 left to mix apparently), so hopefully Angels & Devils might see a release date announcement before the year’s out. As well as news of The Bug, the Facebook page is also the place to keep up with news of Kevin Martin’s various other projects. He also links to music, videos, art and documentaries that he’s feeling at any given time. Educational and informative!

Meanwhile, his recent 10” EP Filthy (Ninja Tune) is still on regular rotation here at chez No-Michi. Here’s my favourite track off it, Dirty, featuring the mighty Flowdan

For some unknown reason T.Power jumped into my head this week. I had his album The Self Evident Truth of an Intuitive Mind (SOUR, 1995) on tape back in the 90’s and listened to it to death but never picked it up on CD. Consequently I don’t think I’ve listened to it this century(!). Fortunately T.Power has the whole album streaming from his SoundCloud and I’ve fallen in love with this lost classic all over again.

My latest Connect The Dots radio show went out on Future Music FM on Sunday – you can stream or indeed download from the show’s Mixcloud. Get involved with forthcoming shows via the Facebook page or get in touch with me via Twitter.
