I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting to hear previews of Samuel Kerridge’s forthcoming Downwards album A Fallen Empire since it was announced. It was always a given this was going to be on my must-buy list, yet getting that taste of his blackened industrialised technoise just makes me salivate that bit more. His intimate set at Plastic People back in late July has been one of my favourite sets this year.
