Warlock’s essential mix of 93-96 era Hardcore, Jungle and early D&B
London’s Warlock has dropped what is bound to be a classic mix of the genre – 80 minutes of some of the finest plates from a golden era. A constant presence in underground rave culture since 1989, Warlock is a true hero of the scene. Most of you know this already I’m sure, but he’s a damn fine selector and DJ.
This is a vinyl excursion from the faster Hardcore of 93, through Jungle’s heyday of 94 and 95 and just edging up to the beginnings of drum & bass. Plenty of amens, lots of darkness, obligatory big bass and a ton of my heroes.
Bad ass music from the likes of Dillinja, Ed Rush, Face Records, Remarc, Juice Records, Lemon D, Krome & Time, D Bridge, No U Turn, FBD Project, Legend Records, Pascal & Sponge, Metalheadz, M.T.S, Krust, Technical Itch, Marvellous Kane and more.
