We begin with British producer HERE recording for German label Adventurous Music. Which is a locational theme continued with the German producer MPU101 for the also German Ilian Tape. You’ve London’s Sunden, and a track from his excellent debut LP Minor Coda. The not often heard these days Polyphonic Spree. Forthcoming material from Ireland’s Ian Nyquist. Brand new Songhoy Blues. Kompakt’s Golden Bug. Kayla Painter wonderful electronics. Chrissy’s bright breakbeat. Dutch DJ/producer Steffi. Sheffield’s 96 Back. 1997 era Blur. Idaho’s Built To Spill. And a late 70s psychedelic Bollywood track.

We pick it up a bit with some Swedish garage rock, courtesy of The Hives. Before going balls to the wall with the heavy riffs of Lamb of God. Shifting as we often do, we’ve an early Peter Gabriel masterpiece. Before afrobeat don Tony Allen. You’ve the electric maloya sound of Jako Maron. The exceptional jazz + breakbeat sound of Manchesterian trio GoGo Penguin. And a cut from The Budos Band’s latest LP. All before an old hardcore breaks track from one of the greats, Skanna.
