Featured Guest

Our guest today is Autumns. The electronic post-punk project of Irish musician Christian Donaghey, who fuses elements of dub and sonic exploration into his work. As it goes, his mix for us today is heavy on the dub, with a deep dive into his personal collection of dub records.

Donaghey is a busy producer. And one who has been releasing since 2013, with his Autumns project emerging in full form a year later, with a debut album on Regis’ Downwards. One of my favourite labels no less.

He’s gone on to release with Broken English Club’s Death & Leisure, Opal Tapes, Detriti, Fort Evil Fruit, Clan Destine Records, and Touch Sensitive Records.

In January this year he released two albums. Still In The Thick Of It on Antibody Label. And, I Didn’t Mean To Send It Twice on Exterminator Records. Plus, there’s recent remixes for DKA Records and Semantix, and his contribution to Spanish label Bruto Industries and Volume 1 of their new compilation Under The Stone.

When not in the studio, he can be found regularly touring the UK and Europe. And if that wasn’t enough, he holds down a monthly residency on Bristol’s Noods Radio, where he hosts the show Dyslexia Sound System.
