Preview the latest from Ingen & Dronelock, featuring Valmay and Myler
Due in less than a month is a return to Duality for Ingen and Dronelock with Kilali. A follow up release to last year’s The Keep.
Two original tracks come backed with remixes by Irish tough tech bod Myler and Valmay, who at this point besides an EP on ARTS last year, we don’t know anything about. Pearls is a techy walker complete with a wide vista synth to which Valmay offers up 2 versions. The first takes things into a broken beat kind vibe, think Death Abyss, just a touch lighter. The second is a heads down loopy piece with crunched snares. Ingen and Dronelock’s other original work here is Africa. As the name suggests, the vibe here is something along a tribal vibe, achieved by not the percussion, which is as high grade as you’d expect from both Ingen and Dronelock, but from the vocal samples used as they meander and weave about the beats. Myler finishes the EP with his remix of Africa – bringing to it, distortion and tekno kick drums.
Solid work from all involved. Out July 23rd.
