Ireland’s Trensmat Recordings have impressed this year, what with that Valved EP and those Whirling Hall of Knives and AnD remixes, and Skullflower’s Stefan Jaworzyn. Not forgetting of course last years excellent Trust offering from Stave. After a quiet summer the label are very much back with a bang, following 8 years of courtship they’ve finally snared their prize – Sunil Sharpe.

Sunil keeps the output count low & the quality high unleashing swinging darkroom funk on highly select labels such as Blawan & Pariah’s ‘Works The Long Nights’ & Violet Poison. In fact we’ve been eight years trying to get material from him, so this is extra special release for us.
