fresh DVNT mix airs tonight on FSOLboard’s Terminal Radio
Tonight the 4th transmission in the ongoing series of Terminal Radio’s super quadrant meta-brain mixes makes its début airing on Fnoob. Contributing as 1/8 of the selectors behind the two hour trip is DVNT.
Terminal Radio
Tune in from 8PM GMT
The monthly transmission broadcast Terminal Radio is an offshoot of the Terminal Window release series – a music project from the Future Sound of London fan commmunity at the FSOLboard. Artists were invited to contribute tracks and collaborations to the releases. The work so far has been fantastic.
Members who made tracks for the Terminal Window series and general fans of FSOL and ambient music were invited to contribute a 15 mix. Eight of these were collected and mixed together in a 2 hour trip. Each volume will feature eight more alternate universes converging into one super quadrant meta-brain.
My mix ‘Simpering Gossip‘ is a packed 26 track offering of diverse, deep flow electronics, covering instrumental hip-hop, abrasiveness technoid, acid, jungle sub, 60s pop and a few other surprises along the way. It has more than a nod to those early (and timeless) FSOL BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes the duo of Garry Cobain and Brian Dougans compiled in the 90s.
As you’d expect, it comes with a Darkfloor slant. Three exclusive tracks commissioned and produced solely for Simpering Gossip – from Vacated, Ontal and Benefactor. All delivered stunning, standout work that blew me away when I heard them. Thank you guys.
Transmission Four features: Neotropic, Offland, Nmesh, Cubus, DVNT, DJ Meisa, Lingua Lustra and Sturmazdale.
