This release impressed me a lot. A wide array of beat structures have been presented with this remix LP of Apparent Symmetry’s Mourn release, released as it was back in January 2010 on Abstrakt Reflections.

Sixteen tracks in all are on offer which despite coming from a range of different artists; some I’m aware of like Erissoma, and some I’m not like Radio Salva; collectively they work together wonderfully. A dark deep journey is perhaps the best way to describe how these sit together. Delicate fractures of sound, with jumps into more defined beatsmithery.

It’s going to be a hard choice to decide which I’m going to drop on the next Mantis Radio, but rest assured I’ll be dropping something from this LP.
