We begin and stay for a good chunk of the first hour in a dreamy haze. With tracks from Dark Entries’ Sunfear, Bedrock, Nick Breinich, Malibu, and 36. All before getting into the Reich channelling minimalism of Nova Scotia’s JOYFULTALK. That’s followed by the rich beauty of Trentemøller and vocalist DíSA.

Suitably eased in, we get the riffs out with deftones and Fugazi. Before retreating back in contemporary jazz of ambient maestro Murcof, working with French trumpeter Erik Truffaz.

There’s a cut from KAYTRANADA’s new album. The disco dub of Jahtari’s Domino Slims. The bopping house tech of Or:la, and the electro of Marcela Dias Sindaco.

You’ll hear a live version of an track by Hallucinogen and Ott. Electric harp takes centre stage with Dorothy Ashby. Plus, there’s the brilliant brand new track from the gold lyricist Aesop Rock.

We’ve early Faithless, and a track from their debut LP. The brain itching Sheffield duo SND make an appearance. And, there’s a lesser heard soundtrack inspired techno track from one of the scene’s best – Jeff Mills.

Closing the show, mid 90s Aphex Twin. Because, sometimes you need it.
