Rafal Fürst – Huta Remixes / Audioexit
I think we’ve effectively established that the Hungarian Audioexit netlabel crew are a bit of a favourite at Darkfloor HQ; releasing dark no messing techno, all for free.
For the 47th release label owner Doryk together with 3 others; Stoq, Acidus and Dan Mute, revisit the labels 43rd release from Rafal Fürst (check out our post on that here), laying down their own reinterpretation of the industrial tech.
Each of the 4 original works by the Polish producer get the remix treatment. Doryk goes in with a hypnotic reversioning of Bankowa. Stoq, a new name to me, hits hard with a brutal rework of the reasonably abstract Dzierzynskiego. Acidus keeps that offbeat percussive structure as well as that sense of menace but takes it down on the clonk from the original of Katowice. Closing the quartet; Dan Mute strips out the broken beats from A.M.S. focusing the hits into an edgy loopy darkfloor piece.
This is good solid techno.
