Exium release remixes of their album A Sensible Approach To Emotion.

Due for release later this month is the remix EP of Exium’s wonderful 2013 album – A Sensible Approach To Emotion. Like the album before it, the EP will be released on the ever reliable Polegroup label.

Drafted in for the remixing – Silent Servant, Jonas Koop, Oscar Mulero and Tripeo. In the case of the last two – Mulero and Tripeo – they get two further cuts on the digital release (6 tracks versus the 4 on the vinyl). Mulero offers two remixes of Massless Particle whilst Tripeo gets a vinyl edit remix of Dronid on the 12″ with a Parallel Computing remix joining a digital edit on the file option.

For the clubs Kopp’s effort is leading the charge with Tripeo’s Dronid edit offering a truly blissful slab of sound. Tripeo repeats this success with a sharper more club friendly cut on his remix of Parallel Computing – which didn’t make the vinyl. I’m normally a big fan of Juan Mendez work under his Silent Servant alias – but his remix doesn’t quite grab me. I might just need to hear the whole track rather than a snippet.

The vinyl drops July 14th with the longer 6 track EP dropping 2 weeks later, July 28th.
