#201
Tonight sees a new duo on the scene in session, Ordinate. Based in London, JP Hartnett and John Flynn (SPACES) are a self-described techno band –
Since we started, we’ve mostly concentrated on recording, but it’s very much a live act, hence the ‘band’ thing! We began as an instrument based band actually, but after the drummer moved away, we slowly shifted more towards techno, and that’s what turned into Ordinate.
Their session is wall to wall unreleased and forthcoming material, and includes their recently released OR 06 that surfaced last week on Sunil Sharpe’s label Earwiggle. Sharing vinyl real estate with AnD, Martyn Hare, DeFeKT, Papers, Johan Platt and Boner M, Bintus and Neil Landstrumm. Ordinate are a name worth keeping an ear on in 2016 and already have lined up a double release 12″ and cassette.
In tonight’s first hour, we’ve new music from Ontal, Void Tactical Media, Phat Chex, Regis, Sam KDC, Clark and many more.
