Fresh from our 8 track Winter Solstice charity compilation dropping on its namesake day (December 22nd) we’re hitting 2016 running.

Our first release of the year welcomes a new signing to our label – A Vengeance, and with them comes their debut release ANTENNAE.

Mya Gravis & Ana Carcinoma are A Vengeance. An industrial noise duo from two separate industrial wastelands in Britain. Ana and Mya could be anyone, they are simply infected carriers of the Signal, given to them by the Antennae. That is all.

Dropping in February, the six track release marks a first for Darkfloor Sound as it will be available on a pro-dubbed cassette (and digital formats). In keeping with this series of firsts, the duo perform together for the first time next Sunday, January 24th, at Glasgow’s Cathedral Engine.

Pretty much a year ago we introduced A Vengeance through a mixtape they recorded for our show Mantis Radio. A mix that gives an introduction to their influence and vibe. Taking in material from Skinny Puppy, Loops Haunt, The Body, Tim Hecker, TCF, clipping., Raime, SD Laika, Bauhaus, Haxan Cloak, Shabazz Palaces and Fis.
