Chrononautz + Vacated play London’s Rye Wax this Friday
London. Earth. This Friday new night Coercion gets underway at Peckham’s Rye Wax. Located in the basement of The CLF Art Cafe (aka the Bussey Building) the promoters are inviting down, for their London debut, the Leeds hardware duo Chrononautz, supported by Darkfloor affiliate Vacated.
Coercion presents a night of noisy electronics and techno with an exclusive live performance from Leeds hardware act Chrononautz, who will be injecting Rye Wax with their spiky, raw DIY techno sounds and spirit. We’re delighted to host their debut live London show and cannot wait to hear the thrilling and charged sounds from the duo’s acclaimed Public Domain Fuckover Series live in Peckham. We’re also excited to announce the inclusion of promising producer Vacated to the line-up. As the irrepressible host of the highly rated fortnightly show, wehavevacated on the forward thinking electronic online radio station Future Music FM, he is an expert selector concerning all things techno and beyond.
All told it’s gonna be a nice intimate little session this and I’m really looking forward to seeing the duo in action. Their EP PUBLIC DOMAIN FUCKOVER SERIES #1-6 was highly rated by The Quietus (who interviewed the duo back in November), making #27 in their best releases of 2014 list.
Tickets are advance only, are £4 and are available from Resident Advisor. You can’t buy tickets on the door.
