Description

Darkfloor Sound present the first of 2 EPs marking the 2019 Winter Solstice.

As we did with our first Solstice compilation in 2015, this EP is available under pay-what-you-want pricing, with all monies raised going to the National Autistic Society.

We welcome to our label London based Interjector, and Sheffield based Stacie-Anne Churchman. They join label mainstays MSQ and Savier.

Thanks go to Matt Squibbs, Matt Faulkner, Gregg Davies, and Stacie-Anne Churchman.

David Meiser - Inigo Kennedy (Token, Rodz Konez, Stroboscopic Artefacts) "DRKFLR003 sounds great! Like A1 and A2 the most I think. Will give them a blast at the weekend!" Coefficient (Duality, Labrynth, M_REC) "Really like the B side tracks on this release. 'Know Your Root's reminds me of some early Oliver Ho releases on Meta. 'Transcending Your Fears' is also nicely dark. Full support!" Dare&Haste (Pareto Park, Trust) "Soviet Rules is the perfect example of why Meiser is one of my favourite producers. Twisted, dark, intelligent & hard as nails. The relentless synth work & punishing drum work is right up my street. Coupled with the speech samples I'm totally sold. More!!!" George Lanham (Engineroom, Pareto Park, The Public Stand) "These are great tracks, proper techno." Objekt (PAN, Leisure System, Hessle Audio) "it's a solid release but a bit too main-room warehousey for me if i'm honest."
