So here we have our 3rd MANTIS presents. Coming quite fittingly from our 3rd showcased DJ: Mr Seavers. He was on the show back in mid 2007 and did a storming set live in the studio. We’ve remained good mates since. He helped host the 4th show and around December 2007 we decided to occasionally perform together as CONFOUNDED.

Mantis Radio 004 + EVAC
Round 4. Blimey, well with just 20 minutes to air we at MANTIS HQ received the showcase from EVAC. And although he cut it fine, the results were outstanding. The feedback whilst broadcasting was rather on the positive side. Excellent downtempo and carefully programmed electronica, which we heartily recommend.
Mantis Radio 003 + Mr Seavers
Mark cut his DJing teeth playing for Flatline at The Bomb in Nottingham. Slots at a variety of small clubs and bars in the area followed, both solo and as part of Breaks duo Max Hedroom, graduating to sets at seminal breaks night Spectrum, London-based Ffaction, and the near-legendary “Max Hedroom presents” nights in the last few days of The Bomb’s existance – mixing up Dubstep, Tough Electro and bowel-loosening Hard Techno to devastating effect with fellow cohorts Gareth Williams and Max Cooper.
