Her Records has quickly become one of the most interesting new UK labels to have sprung up in recent times, boasting the combined weight of founders Miss Modular, Sudanim, and CYPHR. Firmly establishing itself as a ‘bag-on-sight’ institution following a flurry of highly creative releases carving out new terrain in the downtempo sphere.

The label hits us this week with Sudanim’s Pleasure Flood EP. It’s titular track stirring serious dancefloor momentum with all the densely layered percussion and aggressive low-end fans have come to expect from the producer, whilst Abondance carries us forward with dread laden tribal drums.

Remaining decidedly on the darker side of the Her Records spectrum, the Pleasure Flood EP is a welcome addition to a rapidly expanding catalogue which should have listeners and DJs alike scrambling all over it by this point.
