preview Casual Violence’s new EP ‘Expression Unrelated’

WORDS

Due in a few weeks on Sam Silva’s Plector Records is the new EP from Manchester’s dark prince – Casual Violence. It’s been nearly three years since we last had material from him. Thankfully, the wait has been worth it.

Expression Unrelated is a four tracker composed of CV’s dark and visceral take on techno – bridging itself between lights off basement techno, grating rhythmic noise, industrial power and deep serene drone. The devil is in the detail, so they say, and there is lots of detail within these cuts.

Moody, tension resplendent tracks for those who want a bit more from their techno.

A1. Casual Violence – Burn It All Down
A2. Casual Violence – Youth Horde
B1. Casual Violence – Expression Unrelated
