The one they call Surgeon doesn’t do studio mixes very often so when they come along they should be cherised; or rinsed out of the nearest hifi you can find. We’re going for the latter.

Ninety minutes of very upfront technoid sound, including Surgeon’s take on a bona-fide breakstep classic: Said the Spider by Darqwan. Mark Broom mentioned it last week and Darqwan was keeping quiet about it, other than to say that a sample could be heard soon. This whole set, Humanity Test, is pretty much solely built with new tracks. Making it fresher than fresh.

Whilst the mix is sure to present you all with plenty of tracks for your ‘must buy’ list the opener is something at the top of mine; Death Abyss’s Seek Happiness In Victory, But Never In Peace remixed by Inigo Kennedy.
