Bartosz Dziadosz is a producer based in Warsaw, Poland. And has been gathering increasing attention as Pleq – an experimental musician combining elements of drone, downtempo, glitch IDM and modern classical. Creating his work by fusing together independently synthesized sounds. Often incorporating violin. And the unexpectedly melancholic sound of a piano, with an occasional female vocal.

Somewhere, something falls, something enters, rings there’s a hissing and pop, like a short circuit on high voltage lines.

Pleq’s sound is perhaps best described as melancholic glitch. He’s focused, prolific and from what I’ve heard of his back catalogue so far, damn consistent. For Mantis Radio today, he has recorded us a special exclusive session mix.
