CHART: 01/2010 (DVNT)

Here are some of the tracks I’ve been feeling and playing out over the past month or two (haven’t done a chart in a while, life sort of took over). All have been featured in my sets both on air with MANTIS and during my DJ sets. I can appreciate that a lot of what I play and have selected will be brand new and from people you are likely not to have heard of before, nor be familiar with their work (one of the main reasons I do MANTIS is to push music by new names to both you and me, giving artists exposure they might not get elsewhere).
So starting now, alongside the monthly chart, will be a monthly chart mix. Check the label links for more info on each.

Coming up this week, not 1, but 2 showcase guest mixes from producers Datacrashrobot and Logical Disorder. Both have a slew of releases, both with a sizeable back catalogue of netlabel pieces. For our 55th show we’ve got an electro and IDM show down of forward thinking electronica.
