Well we had a database problem on Friday. We lost it. Completely.
Eventually over the weekend and via friends in Detroit and Germany managed to get a backup database running, but only from Feb this year. Everything since mid Feb is gone. Not coming back. Lost in the ether. Annoying, believe me. It also means we have lost all the lovely folk who signed up since Feb, so some of you will need to re-register. Sorry about that. I'm looking into systems to make sure this doesn't happen again. Whilst the server hosts were helpful, as shit happens they took their daily and weekly backups of our Darkfloor files after the incident. D. |
