Pleq graced our Mantis Radio show back in March 2011 with a stunning presentation of his production work and selection taste. For our 14th Darkfloor in Session he adds to his showcase mix with another chapter of achingly beautiful sound.
The work of Warsaw’s Bartosz Dziadosz; Pleq is an experimental musician. He combines elements of drone, downtempo, glitch and modern classical. Creating his work:
by fusing together independently synthesized sounds, often incorporates violin, the unexpectedly melancholic sound of a piano, sometimes female vocals. Somewhere, something falls, something enters, rings … there’s a hissing and pop, like a short circuit on high voltage lines.
