Uschi was writing about Kevin Martin’s The Bug project only yesterday but last night the archive of his and frequent collaborative vocalist/MC Miss Red’s interview for Anika’s show on Berlin Community Radio dropped. Featuring unreleased tracks by The Bug, Goth Trad and Jnr Roy.
Scotland’s Kevin Blackwood AKA Ingen has a new EP out today. Snap The Tilt was originally part of netlabel Digital Distortions 50th release, a big comp of label artists. It comes with a revamped and beefed up VIP plus remixes from Blackmass Plastics, Gella, Patscan and Tyler Smith (Black Smith Craft).
Ad Noiseam have announced a new album from Mads Lindgren, Denmark’s Monolog. Previews are up for 2 Dots Left and it’s sounding like a fantastic offering of twisted drum and bass abuse and downtempo trips into electronica’s darker side. The album features collaborative pieces with Cooh, Dean Rodell and Swarm Intelligence (who with Lindgren performs together as Diasiva).
We’ve discovered some new(ish) Adam X under the name Mass-X-Odus for Fondation Sonore. Originally recorded in 2007 and released back in July, they’ve lost none of their militant hypnotic impact – this is Adam on fine form. Pick up the vinyl here – and for digital formats head here.
Block by block , building by building ravage in the the flames of fire.
A new track from one of our absolute favourite IDM producers Logical Disorder has hit the net. Repair is taken from Javier Barreo’s new EP Floating Point, forthcoming on Musex Industries sub-label Sofa Tunes.
French mix series Manifest Podcast are nearly at the end of their 50 intended recordings – this is #48 from Stingrays and is about a good tracklisting of techno as you’ll likely find this week – featuring Surgeon, Max Duley, Regis, The Bee, Chris McCormack, Bandulu, Go Hiyama, Grovskopa as well as Stingrays himself.
Finally, and some of might have heard this already, but, Peter Kruder (of the huge and beautiful downtempo Austrian remixers Kruder and Dorfmeister) shared his recorded in the 90s mix for FM4 Liquid Radio Show last year – a live DJ mix of all the tripped out Pink Floyd bits that he loves.
