Recently featured on the excellent Phlow podcast/blog/webzine, this sublime mix of deep dubbed textured sound really struck a chord with me whilst I was on holiday up in the Scottish Highlands.
Lush vibes flow out from start to finish. Released on Machtdose by Roland, this is the 4th in the ongoing series.

Modul are based in Krasnodar, Russian Federation, and consists of 3 members. Evgeny Shchukin, Evgeny Fomin and Alexander Tochilkin. Together they produce deep IDM electronica, with releases on Phonocake, Electrosound and Notype.

Based in New York, Brendon Moeller (aka Beat Pharmacy, Echologist) has been producing music since ’94. His music has seen release on Francois K’s Deep Space Media; Third ear Records, Echocord, Mule Musiq, Leena Music, Eskimo recordings and more. Deep, dub rich techno, taking influence from jazz, afrobeat and beyond.
This is a mix he did for the Kompakt label guys, celebrating his own Steadfast label and it’s first release: Escape.
