MANTIS 031 with GUNJACK + HELLFIRE MACHINA

Being that we broadcast this show on Valentine’s day, we have a bit of massacre for you. Not one, but 2 showcases on offer, courtesy of Gunjack and Hellfire Machina.

MANTIS 030 with ENOUGH RECORDS

Enough Records is a genre-less netlabel from Portugal, funded in 2001 out of a pirate netradio experiment. Enoughradio died out but the netlabel carried on releasing material ranging from the laidback postrock indie pop electronica idm to the harsh electro rock industrial noise with plenty of ambient in between.

The label is curated by the hands of Filipe ‘ps’ Cruz, equally responsible for this showcase of what can be heard within Enough Records.

DVNT guest mix on Resonance FM

I was asked a few months back to provide a mix for the great Resonance FM show, Marvin Suicide. The show has been running for 181 episodes (and counting) and features only netaudio music. That is music that is freely and legally available from the internet.

King Cannibal – Riddim & Bruise Mix

Filth merchant King Cannibal has made available his latest radio mix.

From the man himself:

The mix was put together for Combat Recordings Riddim n Bruise show on SubFM and was aired early Jan 09. This mix is one of my favourites in a long while and was put together with the intention of justifying buying records that although i love rarely listen to or playout – at least i’m using them in a mix.

MANTIS presents: Mr Seavers Serpent Mix

So here we have our 3rd MANTIS presents. Coming quite fittingly from our 3rd showcased DJ: Mr Seavers. He was on the show back in mid 2007 and did a storming set live in the studio. We’ve remained good mates since. He helped host the 4th show and around December 2007 we decided to occasionally perform together as CONFOUNDED.
